On Friday the 21st April Lockwood sponsored amateur jockey Rebecca Sumner at Newbury racecourse.
Our very own Rob Lockwood attended the race to support Bex and the charity.
The charity the race is for is truly great cause!
The HEROS charity has been in operation since 2006. Unfortunately every year thousands of racehorses leave the sport due to injury, old age or lack of ability. Grace Muir started this charity after a lifetime working in racing to give the horses chance to have a change in career once their racing days were over, not only does this charity help retired racehorses it also now provides a range of education and training for students from 11-16 years of age.
